Rolls of Labels

Rolls of Labels

Main types of rolls of labels

Thermal label rolls

Thermal labels are self-adhesive thermal paper labels that allow a thermal printer to print product information, 1D and 2D bar codes or any other information you want.
There are two types of thermal printing: direct thermal and thermal transfer.
The difference between direct thermal and thermal transfer printing has to do with how the information is printed on the thermal paper. While in direct thermal printing the information is transferred (through heat) directly from the print head to the surface to be printed (thermal paper), a thermal ribbon (ribbon) is used in thermal transfer printing, which is placed between the print head and the thermal paper, which reacts to the heat generated by the print head and transfers the information to the thermal paper.
The main advantage of thermal transfer printing is that it achieves much greater durability of the information printed on the thermal label relative to the direct thermal printing.

Non-thermal label rolls

Non-thermal labels represent all non-thermal self-adhesive paper labels, which are manufactured for the immediate application of the final product, without the need for any end-user printing.
The applications of non-thermal labels are immense, from price tagging, discounts, bag sealing, ornaments, etc...

Pre-printed thermal label rolls

Preprinted thermal labels are self-adhesive thermal paper labels in which STICKOLL, through its industrial printers, provides the service of label printing according to the information to be printed supplied by the customer, thus allowing our customers to receive the labels pre-printed ready for application in the final product, avoiding the investment in equipment acquisition for this purpose.
Our customers can choose between two thermal printing techniques depending on the durability of the information on the desired label. For small to medium durability, direct thermal printing is most advised. If high print life is desired on the label, STICKOLL recommends printing with thermal transfer technology.

Rolls of intelligent labels (RFID)

Smart tags are labels used to identify goods through electromagnetism, containing within them an antenna that "responds" to electromagnetic impulses sent to it by a smart tag reader at a given frequency.
Smart tags can be glued to an object and, from that moment on, allows the object to be traceable, being used in the most varied industries and sectors, such as automobile industry, warehouses, bookstores, computer equipment, telephones, etc...
