Paper Rolls

Paper Rolls

Main types of paper rolls

Thermal paper rolls

Thermal paper is a specific type of paper that has the peculiarity of changing color when exposed to heat. To have this effect, a layer of a chemical called BPA (Bisphenol A) is applied to the conventional paper.
Usually this layer becomes black when heated, leaving the information visible on paper from that moment.

Thermal paper has a wide range of applications, namely rolls for all types of thermal printers (which can be found in cash registers, ATMs, ATMs, password dispensers, among many others).

Normal paper rolls

The rolls of plain paper still apply to a large amount of everyday equipment (cash registers, desk calculators, etc ...), the main difference for thermal paper rolls is the need for a (usually a ribbon / ribbon) for printing to be done, as opposed to the thermal paper in which the printing is done by heat on the paper surface.

Carbonless paper rolls

Carbonless paper is a type of paper to which a treatment has been applied to its surface, which allows the transfer of the printed / written information on the first sheet to one or more sheets below. It was developed as an alternative to chemical paper, which requires the application of a sheet of chemical paper between the original sheet (top sheet) and the remaining sheets below. still apply to a large amount of equipment in our daily lives (cash registers, TPA, etc ...).

Plotter paper rolls

Plotter rolls are rolls of conventional paper to which a layer of a chemical is applied which allows it to absorb ink that is fed from the printer onto the paper.
These rolls of paper are fundamentally used in Plotter printers, which are mostly used by Architecture, Engineering and Projects offices.
